Fostering involves the temporary care of our rescued
felines. Whether sick or weak, or awaiting space
at our haven, your loving home can fulfill the
needs of an abandoned, homeless feline until we
at Paws of My Heart can place the animal for adoption.

Fostering can be a rewarding experience
for people who love felines and enjoy the feeling
of knowing they made a difference in ones life’
Some of the kitties that we rescue are starved,
abandoned, neglected, abused or stray, and miss
the warmth and love of a human companion. There
will be times especially during the spring and
summer months (mating season), when our haven
gets filled up and we cannot take any more helpless
felines into our safety net.
This is when we call upon our foster parents.
Fostering can be a time frame of a day, a week,
a month, or a few months. Mostly when we are full
at our haven, we will need foster parents to house
our adoptable cats or kittens until space is open.
